LAST REVIEWS OF THE YEAR DONE

Phew, just managed to rattle off three reviews for Concatenation before their deadline. Should have been easy, I had read one of the books - "Dead Until Dark" - back before it had been revamped (ouch) as the inspiration for the True Blood TV series. I haven't read all of the "Dead" books, just the first few, and I was given book nine - "Dead and Gone" to review as well. The other book? Well, it wasn't a "Dead" one, sort of, although there are plenty of dead people in the story. It was Robert Rankin's "Necrophenia", bulging with "old toot", and a nifty title for a rock opera. Sequel to "Quadrophenia" anyone?
