The votes are in - the 50th Best Albums of the 21st Century

The mighty Kerrang (Life is Loud, remember) asked their readers to choose the best albums of the 21st Century so far, and from that they have compiled the top 50, out of which I have:

49 -"Permission to Land" The Darkness

39 -"Ghost Reveries" by Opeth

38 "Love Metal" by HIM

29 "Black Holes and Revelations" by Muse

27 "City of Evil" by Avenged Sevenfold

26 "Casually Dressed and Deep In Conversation" by Funeral for a Friend

25 "Puzzle" by Biffy Clyro

24 "Death Magnetic" by Metallica

23 "With Teeth" by Nine Inch Nails

22 "Ascendency" by Trivium

20 "Lateralus" by Tool

13 "Origin of Symmetry" by Muse

12 "The Black Parade" My Chemical Romance

11 "Songs for the Deaf" Queens of the Stone Age

10 "Leviathan" by Mastodon

5 "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" My Chemical Romance

 2 "Absolution" Muse

The number one spot went to Green Day for "American Idiot". But not bad. 17 out of 50, if my maths is correct.
