RONNIE JAMES DIO R.I.P.

I'm back! Been away because of mucho business - Linda was ash-bound in Oz for a while, and there have been a couple of technical difficulties, so it's sad to have to return and comment on the death at 67 of Ronnie James Dio owner of one of the great voices in rock. I was lucky enough to catch him live on his "Holy Diver" tour - and I mean back in the day at the Glasgow Apollo and have that album on tape (a cassette of all things!). I was also lucky enough to catch him just a few years ago with Alex when Heaven and Hell toured and he could still cut it in his mid-60s. If you haven't heard him, check out any of the Rainbow albums when he was lead singer, or Sabbath's "Heaven and Hell" and "Mob Rules", or the aforementioned "Holy Diver". He is already missed.
